Sinopse: A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog but a horrible new creature who walks upright—a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster.

You think I'm talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. It's no deformity, no disease. And I'll stay this way forever—ruined—unless I can break the spell.

Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she turn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night? I'll tell you. I'll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and the perfect life. And then, I'll tell you how I became perfectly . . . beastly.

She decides that he should look the way he acts and turns him into a beast, complete with fangs, claws, and fur! In order to break the spell, he must meet his true love—the one who can find some good in him and who he can love in return. Will he find her... or be a beast forever? Now a major motion picture by CBS Films starring Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Alex Pettyfer, Beastly is a contemporary and original retelling of Beauty and the Beast told from the beast's point-of-view. Beastly is a contemporary and original retelling of Beauty and the Beast told for the first time from the beast's point of view. Full of surprising twists, edgy characters, and a fast-paced New York setting, Beastly offers even more with this Deluxe Edition.

ISBN: 9780062117427
Editora: HarperCollins
Ano: 2012
Páginas: 144

Sinopse: See the #1 New York Times bestselling story Beastly through Lindy's eyes! This is her diary, kept while living in captivity with the beast. Lindy's Diary captures all the romance and edgy mystery of the original! Diary, I am locked away . . . with no one to confide in but you . . . and him. His fur, those claws they caught me off guard at first, but now I'm noticing something else about him something deeper. It's the look in his eye. It tells me he's got a secret to keep. That's okay I've got one, too. I think I'm falling in love with him. . . .

Subtítulo: The Kendra Chronicles #1
Edição: 1
ISBN: 9780062024145
Editora: HarperTeen
Ano: 2012
Páginas: 352

Sinopse: Kendra Hilferty, the witch who curses Kyle Kingsbury in Beastly, tells about her immortal existence—how she discovered she was a witch and the various ways she has used her powers to help people throughout the centuries. (Unfortunately her attempts have often backfired.) As it turns out, Kendra has actually had a hand in "Hansel and Gretel," "The Princess and the Pea," and "The Little Mermaid"—but these are not the fairy tales you think you know! Kendra's reminiscences are wrapped around a real-time version of "Cinderella," except the "ugly" stepsister is the good guy. With dark twists, hilarious turns, and unexpected endings, Bewitching is a contemporary read for fairy-tale lovers, fantasy fans, and anyone looking for more Alex Flinn.

ISBN: 9780060874223
Editora: HarperTeen
Ano: 2011
Páginas: 352

Sinopse: I'm not your average hero. I actually wasn't your average anything. Just a poor guy working an after-school job at a South Beach shoe repair shop to help his mom make ends meet. But a little magic changed it all. It all started with a curse. And a frognapping. And one hot-looking princess, who asked me to lead a rescue mission.

There wasn't a fairy godmother or any of that. And even though I fell in love along the way, what happened to me is unlike any fairy tale I've ever heard. Before I knew it, I was spying with a flock of enchanted swans, talking (yes, talking!) to a fox named Todd, and nearly trampled by giants in the Everglades.

Don't believe me? I didn't believe it either. But you'll see. Because I knew it all was true, the second I got cloaked.

Título: Cloaked
Subtítulo:
Edição: 2

Editora: HarperTeen
Ano: 2012
Páginas: 368

Sinopse: Welcome to South Beach: home of hard bodies, hot sun, and hot magic! But Johnny doesn't believe in magic—until a beautiful princess sends him on a quest for a missing frog prince and gives him a cloak that instantly teleports him to the Keys. Johnny soon discovers that magic—including evil witches, dangerous enchantments, and transformed humans—is everywhere and that almost nothing is what it seems.

Towering
Título: Towering

Subtítulo:
Edição: 1
ISBN: 9780062024176
Editora: HarperTeen
Ano: 2013
Páginas: 304

Sinopse: Rachel is trapped in a tower, held hostage by a woman she's always called Mama. Her golden hair is growing rapidly, and to pass the time, she watches the snow fall and sings songs from her childhood, hoping someone, anyone, will hear her.

Wyatt needs time to reflect or, better yet, forget about what happened to his best friend, Tyler. That's why he's been shipped off to the Adirondacks in the dead of winter to live with the oldest lady in town. Either that, or no one he knows ever wants to see him again.

Dani disappeared seventeen years ago without a trace, but she left behind a journal that's never been read, not even by her overbearing mother... until now.

A #1 New York Times bestselling author, Alex Flinn knows her fairy tales, and Towering is her most mind-bending interpretation yet. Dark and mysterious, this reimagining of Rapunzel will have readers on the edge of their seats wondering where Alex will take them next!
